Clouds of the Gambiers

This post is more of an artistic blog than a travel blog. The many shades of sun and cloud here in the Gambiers, brings majestic feelings. Me using my artist eye.

A huge thunderhead building out over the ocean, beyond the barrier reef.

Sunset, with tall clouds on the horizon cutting into the rays of light.

A squall marching into the sunset.

The thunderhead turns orange in the sunset.

The sun glistening on the water trough a thin high cloud.

Two slivers of high cloud above a typical trade wind cloud, as the sun blinds us on the water.

Pinocchio cloud!

A clear blue sky, except for those little thin high clouds.

A series of the sun setting

Turning Orange in the sunset

A rainbow ABOVE the clouds! Does that mean it is raining up??!?!?

A storm rolling in over the archipelago.

It was so huge I had to take two wide angle shots to get it all in!!

Then it dumped down rain!!

A view to the East of the opening at Ed's bay, between Taravai and Agakauitai with the sun setting behind us.

Eagle Cloud!

OK I am sneaking in these two photos of the full moon rising too!

Another sunset with streaks in the rays of light.

Top of a cloud is hot pink!

Our good friends, Pitufa, at the end of a rainbow.
